KCETB awarded Centre for Diversity Silver Accreditation
Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board (KCETB) has been awarded the Centre for Diversity Silver Accreditation, recognising the ongoing commitment to promoting diversity, equality and inclusion across services, workplaces and learning environments. KCETB is the first Education and Training Board in Ireland to receive this silver accreditation.
The Centre for Diversity framework provides a 360° structured review of an organisations strategy, culture and practices across the areas of Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement (FREDIE).

The Silver accreditation marks an important milestone in the work being done at KCETB, to create an environment where everyone feels respected, valued and supported, regardless of their background, identity or circumstances. It reflects the continued efforts to embed diversity and inclusion into its policies, practices and everyday culture.
The Centre for Diversity accreditation recognises organisations that demonstrate a structured and sustained approach to advancing diversity and inclusion. Achieving Silver status acknowledges the progress made by KCETB while also providing a framework for continued development and improvement.
The Silver Accreditation follows just months after being awarded the Bronze Accreditation.

The Centre for Diversity Silver Accreditation provides KCETB with a framework for continuing to build on this progress, strengthening its approach to equality, diversity and inclusion and supporting a culture where all staff, learners and service users can participate and thrive.
