(Wed. 14 June, 2023) – KCETB has published its Annual Newsletter 2023 that documents a busy year of activities across its schools, centres and offices.
The newsletter reflects a busy calendar packed with sporting fixtures, concerts, plays, awards ceremonies, open days, and learner events among the many initiatives that contributed to a packed 12 months as we embraced a long-awaited full return to normality.
The inaugural ETB Week, culminating in ETB Day, is highlighted as well as the Patrons Framework on Ethos launch, the launch of the new KCETB Strategy Statement 2022-2026, the introduction of a new QQI Level 3 Special Purpose Award in Learning to Support Children in Primary School and even a performance for President Joe Biden on his state visit to Ireland.
Commenting on the KCETB Annual Newsletter 2023, Chief Executive Eileen Curtis said, “It has served as a reminder of what we have achieved as an organisation and our raison d’être: that we are, first and foremost, a learning organisation with a core belief that education has the power to change lives and build communities”.
“The future is bright for KCETB as we continue to expand our student numbers, extend our services, improve our school buildings and facilities and progress new opportunities such as the Kilkenny FET College of the Future”, she added.
