Entrance Scholarship Recipients: Borris College Leaving Certificate Class of 2025

 

Students of Borris College recently celebrated a number of scholarship achievements.

Sarah Doyle and Aideen O Keefe Trinity College Dublin ScholarshpThe Leaving Certificate Class of 2025 received a number of entrance scholarships for their outstanding Leaving Certificate results. The school was delighted to attend these awards with their former students and their parents marking the great achievement of each of the students involved.

 

Aideen O’ Keeffe who is studying for a degree in Biological and Biomedical Science at Trinity College Dublin received her entrance scholarship from TCD. Ms Sarah Doyle, Acting Deputy Principal represented the school at this awards ceremony. Dr Linda Doyle, Provost and President of Trinity College Dublin, was present to welcome all award winners on the evening.

 

On the same evening, Eoin Doyle was awarded a scholarship at Dublin City University. Eoin is studying for a degree in Common Entry into Actuarial Eoin Doyle was awarded a scholarship at Dublin City University and Financial Mathematics at DCU. The school’s principal Pat Coffey represented the school on this evening at the event. Eoin is pictured alongside Pat Coffey and DCU President, Professor Dáire Keogh.

 

Michael Drea received an entrance scholarship from University College Dublin. In keeping with the strong emphasis on excellence in STEM at Borris College, Michael is studying for a degree in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics. Michael was presented with his award by Deputy-President & Registrar of UCD, Professor Colin Scott. Michael is pictured at the awards with school principal, Pat Coffey.
