KCETB Nominated for a Carlow Business Award

KCETB Nominated for a Carlow Business Award

Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board (KCETB) is proud to be nominated in the Business Supporting Community category at the Carlow Business Awards 2026.

Supporting communities is at the core of KCETB’s mission. Through our network of schools, Further Education and Training (FET) services, youth work programmes, and community partnerships, we are committed to creating opportunities that empower individuals, strengthen families, and contribute to the social and economic wellbeing of Carlow and Kilkenny.

Our schools play a central role in their local communities, providing inclusive, high-quality education while promoting wellbeing, participation, and achievement for learners of all backgrounds. Equally, our Further Education and Training services support people at every stage of life through apprenticeships, skills development, adult education, community education, and pathways to employment and further study.

Working alongside employers, community organisations, local agencies, and volunteers, KCETB helps people develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to reach their full potential. This collaborative approach ensures that education and training remain responsive to the needs of our communities and contribute to their long-term growth and resilience.

This nomination reflects the dedication of our learners, staff, school communities, FET teams, and partners whose commitment and passion make a meaningful difference every day. We are honoured to be recognised alongside organisations that share a deep commitment to community development and proud to play our part in building stronger, more inclusive communities across Carlow and Kilkenny.
