KCETB Youth Office Welcome staff from the Department of Education and Youth

KCETB Youth Office was delighted to welcome staff from the Department of Education and Youth (Youth Affairs Unit) to Kilkenny and Carlow recently.

During the visit, the Department officials visited UBU youth services in Carlow and Kilkenny, gaining first-hand insight into the vital youth work taking place to support young people across the region. KCETB is delighted to work closely with the Department of Education and Youth to ensure young people in our communities have access to high-quality youth work supports and opportunities.

DEY Visit to KCETB

Karl Duff, Jill Fanin (Principal Officers), Lisa Kavanagh (Youth Sector Specialist),  and Nicola Ergen (Clerical Officer) attended on behalf of DEY. They were joined by KCETB Youth Officers Saoirse Prendergast and Mairead Donohoe, John O’Neill, Adult Education Officer, Martha Bolger, Director of Further Education, and Dr Lindsay Malone, Chief Executive of KCETB.
