KCETB is delighted to congratulate and celebrate the success of staff member Elaine Ware who was a member of the Bennekerry/Tinryland Ladies Gaelic Football team which won the All-Ireland Ladies Gaelic Football Intermediate Club Championship on Saturday 14th December in Croke Park. The winning of an All-Ireland medal was a personal goal of Elaine’s and is a highlight of her playing career to date.
The opportunity to play in Croke Park was also relished by Elaine and her teammates and the occasion was made all the more special by the many family, friends and colleagues who attended on the day. The team gave a great performance on the day beating Annaghdown of Galway on a scoreline of 2-10 to 1-07. We were delighted to welcome Elaine and some of her teammates to the KCETB offices on the 17 December with their All- Ireland, Leinster and Carlow Championship Cups.
Well done to Elaine and her teammates, a great success and the occasion of a lifetime. 2024 was a great year for Elaine and her family as her two cousins, Sam and Cian Prendergast have been enjoying huge success on the rugby field this year also.
