Protected Disclosures Act 2014 <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Protected Disclosures Act 2014 came into effect on 15 July 2014. It provides a framework within which workers can raise concerns regarding potential wrongdoing that has come to their attention in the workplace in the knowledge that they can avail of significant protections if they are penalised by their employer or suffer any detriment for doing so.<\/span><\/p>

KCETB\u2019s Protected Disclosures Policy encourages workers to report potential wrongdoing in the knowledge that their concerns will be taken seriously and investigated, where appropriate, and that their confidentiality will be respected. The policy applies to all KCETB workers including contractors, consultants, agency staff, former employees and interns\/trainees.<\/span><\/p>

In accordance with the provisions of the Protected Disclosures Act 2014,<\/em> KCETB has appointed Liam Scott to receive protected disclosures. He can be contacted by telephone (059 9138571), by email (\u202fliam.scott@kcetb.ie<\/a>\u202f), or by post (KCETB, Athy Road, Carlow).<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
